The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the biggest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting greater quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components is less. By combining manufacturing with innovative design and high quality materials, the weight ration which is required is attained.
To be able to meet the particular requirements of our clients' individual requirements, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to more than fifty cubic yards.
